The Edit by Dr Ellie Sateei
A doctor-curated skincare destination, and a private route to a plan built for your skin.
Bringing clarity to the chaos of modern skincare
In a world overflowing with products and promises, we cut through the noise, stocking only what is proven and worth your money. No guesswork, no gimmicks. Just what works, chosen by a doctor.
You shouldn’t need to be an expert to get this right. That’s our job.
Why I founded The Edit
I founded The Edit because the question I was asked most often in clinic had nothing to do with treatment. It was what to use at home, and whether the eight products already on the shelf were doing anything at all.
My promise is precision. Every recommendation deliberate, every formula justified, every step grounded in clinical evidence. The Edit is where that judgement sits outside the consulting room, so the same standard applies whether or not you ever see me in person.

What The Edit stands for
Good skin comes from evidence, not trends. The right products, used correctly, in the right order. Everything else is noise.
So the shelf is short on purpose. Fewer products, better chosen, each one assessed for evidence, formulation and results before it is stocked. There are no paid placements, and if something isn’t worth buying, we say so.
My promise is simple: intention, care and clarity. Every choice here is made to keep you aligned, supported and centred, and I am truly honoured that you’re here – Dr Ellie
The curation process
Her curation is built on one standard: every product is chosen for clinical evidence and real results, or it isn’t here. Each one is assessed for evidence, formulation and results, then either stocked or rejected, with no paid placements and no exceptions. Dr Ellie tests everything herself, and what she sees in patients in clinic decides whether it stays. Guided by decades of expertise in dermatology and aesthetics, every recommendation is grounded in scientific knowledge rather than in what is selling, and care extends beyond product, connecting skin to health, lifestyle and wellbeing rather than treating it in isolation.
Skin Concierge
A private route to a skincare plan built for your skin, without an appointment in clinic.
Most people do not need more products. They need to know which of the ones they own are working, and in what order to use them. Skin Concierge is how Dr Ellie answers that directly, through The Edit.
There are two ways in. Both are redeemable against what you go on to buy.
| A consultation with Dr Ellie | A skin protocol | |
|---|---|---|
| What it is | A private thirty minute video consultation | A short skin questionnaire, answered by Dr Ellie with a protocol built for your skin |
| What you get | A full review of your skin, concerns and current products, then a clear plan edited down to what your skin needs | A written protocol, with the products and the order to use them |
| Prescription skincare | Prescribed where clinically appropriate | Not included |
| Fee | £195 | £25 |
| Redeemable | £50 against any purchase over £150 | Fully redeemable |
| Best for | A routine that has grown without ever being assessed, or skin that has stopped responding | A clear starting point, or a single concern |
Where The Edit sits alongside the clinic
The Edit is where skincare is curated, explained and bought. The clinic is where skin is assessed in person, and where prescription skincare, including tretinoin, is prescribed following a face-to-face consultation, as the law requires. The two are planned together, so a home routine supports an in-clinic treatment rather than working against it.
If you would like your skin looked at properly rather than guessed at, that starts with an assessment.
